 Un anime foarte curios, probabil cel mai scurt film anime care l-am vazut vre-o data, numai 25 de minute, si nu exista continuare, in plus, cu totul ca e incredibil, este realizat de un singur om, si anume talentatul designer Shinkai Makoto, care doar cu ajutorul unui computer Mackintosh PC, a reushit sa creeze un anime a carui grafica poate sa concureze cu Vandread sau Martian Succesor Nadesico, sau chiar sa o intreaca.
Story-ul se invarte in jurul unei poveshti de iubire la mare distantza intre o fata si un baiat. In anul 2046, dupa descoperirea unor ruine extraterestre pe marte, omenirea a fost in stare sa evolueze enorm si sa construiasca nave spatiale uriashe si roboti de lupta, flota Un este trimisa intr-o expeditie pentru a cauta Tarsienii, o rasa extraterestra care a atacat baza omenirii de pe marte, pentru aceasta misiune sunt recrutati membri de elita, printre care si Nagamine Mikako, o fata de 15 ani, care era indragostita de Terao Noboru, si trebuie sa-l paraseasca, dar ei raman in contact prin mailuri, de fapt sunt un fel de SMS-uri pe care le trimit cu mobilul unul altuia, insa pe masura ce flota UN se indeparteaza, timpul in care ajung mesajele devine din ce in ce mai mare, ajungand la un moment dat sa fie 8 ani, insa Noboru o tot ashteapta, el avand deja 24 de ani cand ea are doar 15... In fine este o poveste de dragoste frumoasa, cu multa actiune si cu o grafica spectaculoasa, o sa impresioneze pe oricine, si pe amatorii de actiune hard-core, si pe fetele care vor sa vada o poveste de dragoste /^_^ |
