Funny for me to utter the word "person" considering this is a forum, where "people" are "users" right? Meh, I'm just kidding, this seems a nice place, it's freaking huge though.

I hope you will excuse my obsessive use of the English language, I am native Romanian in the end ... dar prefer engleza fiindca ma exprim mult mai usor in ea si mai detaliat, doua chestii care cred eu sunt foarte importante in orice forma de comunicare.

Since this is "Membri noi" I will not proceed to shed as much information as I can about myself. (subtle huh?)

First off, I'll clear my nick. In the past many have judged me as some very ... sophisticated user due to my nick "an ancient". Now I don't want to be 'pre'considered someone I am not just because of my nick. Hence forth I am not as "ancient", I'm 17 (turned in the 24th last month). I'm glad that has been wiped off and I can gain a reasonable good reputation amongst you through my posts. Meh ... the urge to talk about some of the futilities of forums and internet is coming again ... I hope to leave it at that.

So now on to general ID. I am Bogdan, born in Brasov in the 24th of February '90 and proud male. I was introduced to this place by Coyotee some time ago, but I didn't really bother with this place, I really can't keep track of the places I've visited and most really I don't bother with. This seemed great and all but I really can't spend as much time as I once could.
However, my most fave places remain:
Nosgothic Realm (smart people, long-ass debates, my first forum too, based on the Legacy of Kain series)
Unofficial Kaleido Star (loosely populated, best Kaleido Star forum so far, good place for news regarding this top anime)
The Mosh Pit (a weird place, very offensive nature, a lot of unrestricted freedom and humor, more of a lurker there, place died, but I still like it)
Anime+ (Not that good, too populated by kids, however there is some fun to be had there)

I wonder where this place will rank, dunno yet.

Next up, my reason for joining is mostly just to get to the downloads. A bit blunt but there's little I find worth discussing on forums anymore.

My likes are mostly of a creative nature, writing(fanfiction) and arts(conventional and electronic). Not much of a reader though, I hardly ever get enticed by books, I however do like short interesting/funny quotes that are sometimes hidden in those books.
Oh yeah, another interest is astrology, I guess due to Kaleido Star, but it is quite interesting. From my date of birth you can guess that I am Pisces and there is a lot to talk about that, however that's something for another times.

As all youngsters apparently do, I do enjoy my fair share of music. However, I'm not to keen on commercial kinds, which has led me to a great deal of genres and sub-genres.
My current explored types of music are Darkcore, Drum'n'Bass, Chill and Ambiental.

Oke, now to more sensitive subjects, meh I'm not impersonal, hiding my identity, the Mosh Pit will do that to you.

Relationships:
I'm happily single after having broken up early this year. I can't say I didn't bring it on myself. However I did learn a thing or two about not being forced into such things. Reasons for separations are still a bit vague, but it includes the use of the big word "Love", but maybe it was age-difference, 2 years shouldn't be that big an obstacle, however me being younger it does sound a bit odd, anyway, take it from me that don't let yourself be pushed around.''

Religion:
Maybe another reason for the above problem.
Officially I'm Christian, but my mind sets me in another kind of belief. I know the whole "faith-god" thing, but I know that I could not fully believe this type of religion. Instead I adopted Amy Hennig's "Wheel of Fate" which is basically the concept of reincarnation. No gods, no divine ideas, not issues of morality, no bogus traditions with which to attain faith. In simple terms there is just your soul that transcends through many lifetimes and after each death gets purified by the Wheel of Fate -- the Christian equivalent to Judgment Day. However not St.Peter tells you where you'll end up, heaven or hell, you just get your slate clean and start a new life. Good deeds will not compensate for bad ones, they all are recorded on your slate. Life is not suffering as Buddah claims, neither is it full of love and joy under God as in Christianity, there is just the life bestowed upon you and the free will the Wheel allows you that ultimately dictated by the Wheel of Fate.

As for my view upon myself I am just a certain someone that has been sometime in a certain somewhere.

As for my traits, I think they'll be visible through my posting here. I do like an interesting debate, but I'm a sucker for humor, I start giggling like an idiot in a matter of minutes. I do like to be open to all possibilities, however I will always like the "new". I'm generally good with people, but I prefer small groups over crowds anytime. Parties also are not my favorite ways of having fun, a smaller social gathering is a lot more to my taste. I don't smoke, I do occasionally drink, I'm a nut for good-tasting coffee with preference in the milder kind. I like the "weird" not for the sake of it being weird(obviously), just keeps me entertained. I hate people who hide, especially on the internet where it's harder to figure out by myself, however face to face I will decipher you! (offended much?). I am quite composed and calm most of the times, it's really hard to get me riled up, I'll rather get amused then angry most of the time. I'm very careful who I call friend and even if it is the nicest person in the world will need a few good months with that person until I become real friends with him. After that I hold on them dearly. I'm a family man, gladly born in a very warm and welcoming one.

Next, for negative traits. I am weak-willed most of the time, it takes a lot to get me motivated. I seem distant in the first minutes of conversation (but I'm just assessing you to suit myself accordingly) .. hence I am quite deceptive, I don't mean about myself and beliefs, I mean about showing some traits of personality. I hate being despised (damn I'm weak).

As for some odd traits, I have a very high body temperature, you can as any of my ex's that I have exceptional warm hands. It has to do something with my metabolism .. or something. I am usually very sleepy, but oddly in that slumbery state will last a few days without sleep.
However I enjoy resting a lot, so much that my only one mortal sin is waking me up when I'm sleeping. I conserve my strength most of the times then release it all at once in a quick flash, then it's back to conserving.
Cold water makes me sleepy, whilst warm milk keeps me up all night. I love potatoes in any form. I concentrate very well with loud noise around me. I would rather "be friends" than any other relationship (oh the unmanliness of it all!) I'm usually idle and deadpan, but am a smiling fool when interacting with someone.

Ok, that's about it. Sorry for the Postzilla, but that's how I get sometimes, although one-liners are good too.
Anyway, I hope there something interesting going on here and I'm pleased to meet you all.

O greseala elementara (care apare la tine de 2 ori) este modul de exprimare al datei: corect este "on the 24th of February", nu "in the 24th of February". Si asta este doar una dintre greseli.

Unofficial Kaleido Star nu mai prea are glorie, dar e sursa buna de linkuri la download, astept mangaul sa fie cumparat si tradus, cred ca acolo voi afla primul.
Ma bucur ca ti-a placut "Facts about Layla" (feel free to add), desi si-a pierdut "flairul", situl este important pt. mine de dragul de a ramane in contact cu proof-readerul meu :)
Cat despre Lok. Este un loc foarte fain si seria fiind atat de complicata in sine nici "noi" sau cei mai inteligenti nu au reusit in totalitate sa dezlege jocul (plotul si timelinul desigur). Oh da, si daca te intereseaza, au inceput speculati a aparitia unui nou Lok bazat pe un interview, informatia e acolo.
oh da, daca esti fan mare al seriei ca mine atunci DARK CHRONICLE e un site foarte important pentru cei noi si vechi adepti a seriei.

Alte impresi noi despre forum ar fi pe langa useri desul de interesanti sunt usernames foarte faine si mai usor de retinut. Nu in comparatie cu alte forumuri unde nickuri suna cea de genu:

Cu nume diverse cred ca o sa va tin minte mai usor si va pot diferentia nu dupa avataruri care inevitabil se schimba.

Anime

Asa, evident, my top fav este Kaleido Star. Poveste, charactere, drama, stil, muzica si idea generala foarte interesante. Un anime dupa mine pentru toata familia care nu este limitat varstei, singurul anime la care m-as uita cu copii mei.(desigur daca as avea). Vai nu as vrea sa intru in detaliu, risc sa nu incetez. :P

Pita Ten
Sincer, nu exista un anime mai "sickeningly adorable" ca acest. Nu stiu cate teme specifice animeurilor newage am regasit, in special ingeri si demoni, mate vorbitoare, magical girl, cute boys, etc etc. Cred ca openingul este cel mai dragut/kawaii vreodata facut, si ce sunet, zici cai Mario. Vocile si ele sunt atat de dragute ca iti ia ceva sa te obijnuiesti + fraza tipica "Yahao!" + glomping + doamne, sunt multe chestii. Singurele interese pt. acest anime este in legatura cu shoujo-ai. adik demonXangel, how funked up is that? :P (offical art, mhmm)

Fruits Basket
Inca mai sunt in procesul de a termina seria, cred ca episodul 13. Plin de umor dar si drama cand chiar nu ma astept. Tema de zodiac ca in KS reintalnita, dar mai interesant. Cred ca as pune acest anime pe locul 2, personal. Shigure is just the man and Ayame is funked up :lol: . Are ceva shonen-ai (subtil ce putin din cate am vazut pana acum, that's a first for me). Dar umorul si originalitate, two thumbs up. Oh, mai e si kagura, crazy kid :lol:

Kasimasi
Chiar m-am asteptat la altceva cand citisem un review. Plotul e chiar "diferit", nu chiar atat de multa romanca cat e gelozie and stuff, a avut ceva umor si cateva chestii interesant. Sfarsitul mi-a displacut, chiar si cel din Ova.

Strawberry Panic!
Ok, nu am vazut Marmite, asa ca nu ma luati cu comparatii. Ca anime a fost plin de fanservice cu un plot foarte slab, dar shoujo-ai mai fizic, ceva ce Marmite nu a reusit. Erau si cateva momente bune, iar sfarsitul chiar a fost unul care mi-a placut. Era foarte "corny" si de acea mi s-a parut funny, in particular amnezia. La caractere nu e prea mult, Tamao era intersanta, stalkerish though.

am incercat sa ma uit la Simoun, dar din nu stiu ce cauza nu mia picat bine, dupa doua episoade nu am putut sa ma mai uit. Nu stiu de ce, cica ar avea plot bun, and a lot of kissing!

Manga

Strawberry Panic!
Dupa ce am vazut animeul, mangaul mi s-a parut mai interesant numai din cauza lui Shizuma si Nagisa. Nagisa fiind facut si mai prostutza (hilar cand se refera la ea la persoana a treia) iar Shizuma mai playgirl si nefiind atat de plina de "angst".
Din pacate nu mai gasesc link spre acel manga, iar cam numai pana la chapter 12 l-am gasit tradus.

Kamichu
nu am urmarit animeul decat cateva episoade, dar mangaul mia placut, are destule momente foarte interesante. O favorizez pe Yurie fiindca este si ea mai relaxata/lenesha. Are o portie buna de umor si o tema interesanta. Din nou aceasi problema este ca nu gasesc pana la capitolul 15 tradus. Un link in vreo sectiune ar fi bun, daca exista.

Pita Ten
Numa primul capitol l-am citit, mi se pare foarte original seriei asa ca nu am mai prea urmarit.

Mangaul pe care il planific sa il citesc e Fruits Basket.
Animeul care as vrea sa il gasesc de vizionat online este Mai Hime.

Alte animeuri vizionate de mine:
YuYuHakusho, Rod-TV, Slayers Try, Inuyasha, Detectiv Conan, si altele care nu mi s-au parut atat de interesante.

Salut si bine ai venit. Am sa sar peste partea cu limba si cu "postzilla"(erau mai tot timpul postzilla.. in vechile vremuri ale forumului, pe mesage boards si dupa aia pe .tk).
In legatura cu animeurile eu stiu doar de Kaledio Star, nu nu l-am vazut dar din niste surse de incredere ma-u informat ca nu e chiar as de bun. Cel ptuin nu e pe gustul meu. Iar cu muzica ehh i'm metal guy myself but i'm open to new stuff anytime. Am coleg de camera care ascult d'n'b ai agressive d'n'b so it's not new to me. Am mai avut un coleg de camera, a se remarca timpul trecut, care ceva care seamana cu Darkcore-ul dar era ceva spaniol, nu mai tin minte numele, in fine oleaca mai rapid decat Darkcoreul si dimineata la ora 7 cand pleci la scoala sa auzi asta.. era cam nasol. In fine in zona de muzica electronica ascult mai mult ambienta, chillout minimal si trance cadn gasesc ceva care merita. so.. that's it

cambridgeu e usor, da tre sa te pregatesti pentru el... nu neaparat dupa cartiile lor, eu invatzam pentru alt examen de engleza, si n-am facut nimic din testele pt cambridge, si totusi l-am luat cu A... e important sa itzi pregatesti gramatica si writingul, si readingul, si sa te obisnuiesti cu formatul de test grila in general... daca ai lucrat destul, examenul in sine pare destul de banal :)
