In multe animeuri numele personajelor pot fi traduse sau au o anumita semnificatie :P
De exemplu in inuyasha
Sango=coral;
"inu"=dog,"Yasha"=demon,
Naraku=hell;
etc.

Sau in Wolf's rain unde numele personajelor principale au semnificatii legate de wolfs:
Kira- Fang
Tsume- Claw
Hige- Whisker
Toboe- Howling

Deci care e semnificatia numelui personajului vostru favorit,sau cum se traduce? :lol:
Cel putin mie mi se pare interesant <_<

Numele personajului meu prefereat e : Kira Sakuya
Kira poate avea doua sensuri cam opuse: in japoneza poate insemna "light", "shininess" or it sounds like the English pronunciation of "killer"

The dictionary tells me:

mitsuki=three months. Mi se pare si normal. "mi" vine de la trei(mittsu), iar kanji-ul lui tsuki mai are ca citire chinezeasca "gatsu" care inseamna luna calendaristica. Anyway, the dict told that mitsuki= three months.

Insa am mai facut o verificare dupa ideogramele din care este compus numele ei si mi s-a parut mai firesc asa. (anyway, all it's so bizarre)

full moon=mochidzuki/mangetsu.

Numele lui Mitsuki este acesta: 満月

Primul kanji are ca citire: man
Al doilea inseamna luna: getsu/gatsu/tsuki

Compu' mi-a tradus ideogramele "mitsuki" ca inseamnand マンゲツ(mangetsu) adica full moon.

Presupun ca sunt mai multe variante. Eu asa am gasit aici:

QUOTE
When the parents choose kanji for the name of a child, they usually choose from its meaning. For example, "ko (child)" is commonly used for the end of female name. "Mi" is a popular choice of the girls name, since it means beauty
