Formulele japoneze de salut/de adresare sunt deja cunoscute in toata lumea.
-san:cea mai folosita pentru adresare respectuaoasa
-chan:pentru copii
-dono:pentru domnisoare
Intrebarea mea este pentru cine se folosesc formulele '-sama' si '-kun'?

dono inseamna stapan si e folosita mult formula waka dono = young master. In general nu se face diferenta intre genuri, decat la chan si kun , cu toate ca poate fi folosite si invers, chan e fol si pt persoane apropiate.

Din cate am cetit si eu, sunt sufixe de politete si statut.

-san - Dle, Dna este sufixul generic de politete. se alipeste la numele de familie al persoanei in cauza. Se foloseste si impreuna cu grade de rudenie (ex: ojisan - bunic parca) Nu se foloseste niciodata referitor la sine.

-sama - sufix ce denota un respect deosebit. In rest, similar cu -san

-kun - folosit in general de tineri (baieti) cand se adreseaza unul altuia, deasemnea se poate folosi de la superior la inferior in mediul lucrativ. implica un grad de apropiere mai mare decat politicosul -san, dar muult mai departat decat -chan. A chema pe un strain -kun este o insulta.

-chan - se adauga in general la numele de botez sau numele relatiei de familie (ex: oniichan = frate mai mare, conotatie familiara, afectuoasa). se foloseste in vorbirea familiara, intre rude apropiate. A chema un strain "-chan" este o mare insulta.

-han - l-am auzit o singura data in Love Hina si n-am gasit informatii despre el.

La japonezi (daca am retinut bine) exista cel putin urmatoarele distinctii :
- familia apropiata (parinit, copii, frati, surori...)
- rude mai intepartate
- colegi (de scoala, de lucru) cu distinctie de rang
- restul lumii

Cautati si voi pe net, nu luati astea drept informatii absolute. Zic si eu din ce am citit pe net cand cautam exact sa aflu ce inseamna astea.

Din cate mai stiu si eu, unele sufixe sunt arhaice, nemaifiind folosite in limba japoneza moderna.
Poate in aceasta categorie intra -tan, -han.
In privinta lui -dono am si eu o intrebare. El intra in categoria limba veche sau este la fel de folosit in prezent ca si in trecut. In afara de Rurouni Kensin unde l-am intalnit frecvent, nu prea mai apare (iar acolo aparea Himura-dono, deci clar nu erea folosit pentru domnisoare).

Pentru mine cele trei sufixuri -chan, -kun, -san, -sama arata un concept de superioritate-egalitate-inferioritate.
superioritate (-sama): parinti, zei, imparat
egalitate (-san): oricine are acelasi statul ca si tine si vrei sa ii arati respect
inferioritate (-chan, -kun): copii, respectiv cei mai tineri decat tine
