Cateva filme japoneze vazute:
-Koroshiya 1 aka Koroshiya ichi sau Ichi the Killer -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichi_the_Killer , care este inspirat din manga, pe care am si vazut-o... PS: astazi mi s-a trezit din nou interesul dupa aproape un an pentru acest gen de filme si mi-am adus aminte si de acesta si am vazut ca se gaseste pe net si un OVA prequel la manga, ..hmm  il iau sa vad cum e...;
-Bijitâ Q aka Visitor Q
-Ôdishon aka Audition
-The Pillow Book -> film vazut prima data pe o caseta VHS, dar nu m-am uitat prea bine la el atunci... apoi dupa mai multi ani aparu si in varianta digitala si pe torrenti...Se vorbesc mai multe limbi in film, dar e si putina japoneza.. ^_^

Tabi no okurimono 0:00 hatsu (Departing Osaka Station At 0:00) - La miezul noptii, din gara Osaka, pleaca un tren catre o destinatie necunoscuta.

Mi-a placut foarte mult.

N-as vrea sa intru in subiect, dand detalii.

Am urmarit cateva secvente si pot spune ca subiectul m-a prins. :D

Am vazut Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu aka Be with You (2004) si pentru mine este superb.

Filmul : Great Teacher Onizuka :D

Tag : japan drama asia

Great Teacher Onizuka is the story of Eikichi Onizuka, an unorthodox high school teacher whose decidedly unusual teaching methods make him a hero to the kids, but a menace to the establishment. Conceived as a Japanese manga by Toru Fujisawa, the saga of Great Teacher Onizuka achieved phenomenal success in Japan, spawning an animated television series, a twelve-episode TV drama, and a TV special. Finally, in late 1999, the braintrust of Fuji TV brought us GTO: The Movie, which is what this review happens to be about.
Unlike the usual GTO storylines, the film takes place as far away from the big city as possible. The setting is the rural town of Horobonai, which is located on Japan's northern-most island of Hokkaido.

Film muzical Japonez ....... :D

Taiyou no Uta

While working at a seaside inn with his high school buddies, Kouji Fujishiro (Yamada Takayuki) meets Kaoru Amane (Sawajiri Erika), a street musician. Kaoru is suffering from an incurable disease called XP (xeroderma pigmentosum), and can’t be exposed to the sun. Under the sun, the two would never have met. Still, destiny brings the two together. Since the day he suddenly lost his job, Kouji has lost sight of his dreams. But when he meets Kaoru, who is making positive efforts to become a singer, Kouji regains his long-forgotten passion for music.

Un film din 1952, Saikaku ichidai onna (tradus The Life of Oharu), dureros de trist, spune povestea unei tinere prostituate (n-as folosi termenul acesta, insa nu am gasit echivalentul japonez pentru ''curtezana'', care nu, nu e "geisha" <_< ) la Curtea Imperiala, repudiata pentru crima de a se fi indragostit de un tanar de rang inferior.
E unul din filmele mele favorite, si trebuie sa recunosc meritul lui Peter Greenaway for not making a mess of things in the movie. Pentru mine, The Pillow Book e o epopee a limbajului.

 Tocmai voiam să-l recomand şi eu, care nu prea am văzut filme japoneze în general (I hate gratuitous horror and I hate live-action remakes of anime). ("What's your function in life?")

On another note, dacă tot pomenea Kaoru urmaşul Crouching Tiger-ului numit House of Flying Daggers pentru estetica lui vizuală, luptele ca nişte dansuri etc. (putting the "art" in "martial art"), cred că trebuie neapărat subliniat şi Ying Xiong a.k.a. Hero (2002).

Bleah, both Azumis fail miserably. Lotsa hack'n'slash with no realism whatsoever. B)
